Depending on your arrival time, you may choose to relax at the hotel or begin exploring Cambodia’s capital at your own pace.
Day 2 – Phnom Penh City Tour

After breakfast, begin your Phnom Penh sightseeing tour with visits to Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum and the Killing Fields, two important sites that offer insight into Cambodia’s modern history and the Khmer Rouge era.
Later, continue to the Royal Palace, beautifully located at the meeting point of the Mekong and Tonle Sap Rivers. Built in 1866 by King Norodom, the palace remains an important royal residence. Within the complex, visit the Silver Pagoda, famous for its floor of more than 5,000 silver tiles. The pagoda also houses remarkable treasures, including an emerald and crystal Buddha and a life-sized solid gold Buddha decorated with thousands of diamonds.
End the day at the art deco-style Central Market, where you can browse stalls selling local produce, flowers, silk, jewelry, souvenirs, and clothing.
Day 3 – Phnom Penh to Battambang via Udong and Kampong Chhnang

Leave Phnom Penh this morning and travel overland to Battambang. On the way, stop at Udong, the former royal capital of Cambodia. Once an important political and spiritual center, Udong offers a fascinating glimpse into the country’s royal heritage.
Continue to Kampong Chhnang, a province well known for its traditional pottery and ceramic craftsmanship. Visit local workshops to observe artisans at work before continuing to Battambang for check-in and overnight stay.
Day 4 – Battambang, Ek Phnom, Phnom Banan and Phnom Sampeau

After breakfast, explore Battambang’s historical and cultural landmarks. Visit Ek Phnom, an 11th-century temple known for its elegant carvings and atmospheric ruins.
Continue to Phnom Banan, a hilltop temple offering panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. After lunch at a local restaurant, head to Phnom Sampeau, a limestone hill with caves, temples, and significant historical importance. During the Khmer Rouge period, some of the caves were used as killing caves, making this site both scenic and deeply moving.
Return to Battambang for overnight.
Day 5 – Battambang to Siem Reap with Banteay Srei and Banteay Samre

After breakfast, depart for Siem Reap, gateway to the temples of Angkor. Upon arrival, begin your temple exploration with a visit to Banteay Srei, one of the most beautiful temples in Cambodia. Built from pink sandstone and famous for its delicate carvings, Banteay Srei is often considered the finest example of classical Khmer art.
Next, visit Banteay Samre, a beautifully restored temple with architectural features reminiscent of Angkor Wat. Known for its graceful towers and detailed stonework, this lesser-visited temple offers a quieter but equally rewarding experience.
Return to your hotel in Siem Reap for overnight.
Day 6 – Full-Day Angkor Temple Tour

Spend today exploring the highlights of Angkor Archaeological Park. Begin at Angkor Thom, the last great capital of the Khmer Empire under King Jayavarman VII. Enter through one of its monumental gates and continue to Bayon Temple, famed for its many towers carved with serene smiling faces.
Visit the Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King, both noted for their intricate bas-reliefs and ceremonial importance. Continue to Baphuon, an impressive temple mountain that rises dramatically above the surrounding landscape.
Later, visit the world-famous Angkor Wat, Cambodia’s most iconic temple and one of the greatest religious monuments ever built. Constructed in the early 12th century during the reign of King Suryavarman II, Angkor Wat was designed to represent Mount Meru, the sacred home of the gods. Inside, admire magnificent galleries, mythological bas-reliefs, and the celebrated Apsara carvings that decorate its walls.
Return to Siem Reap for overnight.
Day 7 – Tonle Sap Lake and Kompong Khleang

Enjoy a boat excursion through waterways, flooded forests, and traditional communities to reach Kompong Khleang, a striking stilted village where homes are built high above the waterline.
This excursion offers a unique look at daily life on the lake and the close relationship between local communities and the seasonal rhythms of Tonle Sap.
Please note that during the late dry season and early wet season, typically from February to July, the visit may operate instead at the perennial lake near Phnom Bok, depending on water levels.
